Samuel Adams Winter Lager
By: Katie Schroepfer
First Impression: This looks like all other Sam Adam’s beers. It doesn’t stick out from the other’s except that it does say Winter Lager pretty boldly on the label.
Pour: The Winter Lager had a nice, heady pour. It brings a deep, ruby red color to it, clearer than I would have though it would be, but the aroma is nice and subtle. It pulls together really nicely.
Taste: The taste isn’t as bold as I was expecting. It’s pretty calm with a great cinnamon and ginger taste to it. I would recommend this beer highly for beer drinkers that aren’t into a lot of hops. It’s a great winter brew.
